I have never given Thanks in sardonic fashion, and I resent the accusation.

Even though you have annoyed me mightily on many occasions with your own sarcasm, when I have given you thanks, I felt it was honestly deserved. And your post is my reward.

I'm tempted to employ my first sardonic "Thanks"...

Damn, and I thought they were genuine.
Every single one I've dispensed has been.

Nothing more... for example Texrat, GA, Benson, Bundyo, Quim and many more they have written a lot, but still they know very little

(should I also have to say that I am kidding?)
No no, I willfully admit to my obvious stupidity. It's my universal excuse and it has got me this far.

I was joking about Texrat, but pointing out at the same time that Thanks are not always dispensed in a heartfelt manner.

I was going by the following interchange:

"Texrat, I am absolutely in awe of your technique for turning the "Thanks" button into a way to make a covert snarky reply.
Reply With Quote Quick reply to this message Thanks
Johnx

Default Re: Intel Atom
Thanks John! I was wondering if anyone caught that. "

Sorry that I misunderstood.

I was joking with JohnX, but as I pointed out to you in PM, that Thanks was not meant sardonically-- I really was sincere. It just had a bit of an edge to it.

EDIT: instead of "snarky" think "facetious". My middle name.

Heh ...

These responses are great! LOL

(I had a rough day as a pointy-haired manager - really nice to log on to ITT and have a good laugh).

Tonight is Clone Night for me. If I don't make it out the other side of the discontinuity, tell my wife my last thoughts were of her.
