There will be an arabic on-screen keyboard available for installation.

It's much better. I found the top row irritating on the N810, and the lack of that bother was the first thing I noticed about the N900 keypad (well, that and the much less straining touch resistance).

Perhaps it is still a bother for some people depending on size of their fingers and/or how they hold their thumbs. E.g. there may not be enough space if you tend to put your thumbs flat on the keys, but why would you do that. Very long finger nails might be an issue.

Check out how little space Droid has and you will feel much better about both the 810 and 900 Not much space on top row.

Please, Dark Knight, dont hijack all threads about keyboard issues.
Thread hijacking is something strange! Sometimes I find myself doing so but not on purpose, and try to get the thread back on his tracks if I did. Its disturbing. Open up a new thread (well you did I guess) and keep your comments to the related topics, please.

As said in this thread, as said in others: OnScreen Keyboard for the arabic world, maybe there will be a hardware keyboard some time but afaik its not on the plan yet.

I was wondering how the thread starter managed to touch the screen with the thumb while trying to press the upper row! Just curious!

Ah, so then it must be the others who do something wrong.

I find the keyboard very practical to use. In fact, I prefer it to the one on the N810. I've even started to write SMS...

Yes, it's about one specific issue: that there is not enough room for the top row of the keyboard.

It helps if you read the post as well as the title.

Please try and keep it civil; you were given a perfectly reasonable request to not hijack threads, and you responded with hostility.

Back on topic:

My fingers are huge. I hope that I don't have issues.
