I uploaded residualvm version 0.2.0 (development snapshot) to extras-devel.
Keybindings added for maemo:
ctrl+shift+m access menu
ctrl+z Skips cutscenes

The game runs a bit slow on my n900, but I think is playable.

Still no OpenGLES? Want some help with it when I finish with Armagetron (I'm currently trying to port that one)? :P

edit: and are you now developing or maintaining it or just uploaded kinipyon's sources to repository?

I'll see what I can do about OpenGLES, of course any help is welcome . I downloaded the sources from residualvm site and ported to maemo (I discovered this thread later).

It works very well, at least in my N900, the only problem I noticed itīs that the bottom of the screen itīs missed so when you speak with someone cannot read the last option..

It should be upload to extras-devel, Iīm sure more people are willing to try this version and replay, or play for first time, that great game which Grim Fandango is.

Thanks for this port!

I've already uploaded residualvm to extras-devel, if you install that version, in fullscreen mode you can see the whole screen.
