Does Tor utilize IP tables NAT? if so, this is a blocker as this is not in stock kernel.

You may want to try and run TOR with higher priviledges (devel-su \ develsh) and if that doesnt work. Someone should try using N9 flashed with open mode kernel.

Can anyone please clarify how to do that? There is no libevent package available on my N9:
apt-cache search libevent
returns nothing

Do I need to add any repositories?

Hi rzr, any chance of compiling a more recent version of tor for the N9?

Thx,

I'm encountering the following problem:

~ # tor
tor: error while loading shared libraries: libevent-2.0.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

apt-cache shows a long list of libevent packages

@rzr warns not to install libraries separately, so I'm not risking. Any clues?
