A lot of the software on maemo is not compatible with 2007 OS yet - does anyone know a way to run 2006 software in the 2007 OS?

Generally a rebuild and repackage is needed to get the OS 2006 app working on OS 2007, however a lot of OS 2006 apps work fine on OS 2007 without any modification - just because an app says it's for OS 2006 doesn't mean it won't work on OS 2007.

Great, I'm glad to hear there's not too much involved. I'm new to the N800, got it 2 days ago. I'll give the rebuild and repackage a shot this weekend.
