the finger swirl or volume +/- will only zoom in the page, not the actual map, you get all pixelated goodness, lol
what sucks is once you zoom in, there's no way of zooming out.

to actually zoom in the actual map, you have to bring out the mouse pointer (i assume you already know how to do this), lock it, then double tap anywhere on the map.
what sucks is once you zoom in, there's no way of zooming out.
