from what i gathered so far everyone got the same problem of creating archive files using the Xarchiver... if anyone got a solution do tell it can be very helpful for packing images and sending them via mail :Petrovich: helps but when its over 5 files and inside different folders it becomes an issue.

thanks.

Xarchiver not working is due to BusyBox having crippled tools.
Anyways, a quick solution to your problem is tapping the title bar in Petrovich and hitting share.

tapping share is nice option but not when you trying to mail 30MB of pic's and they are all over, also the mail client limits you on how many files you can send

edit: could you elaborate what is BusyBox? i have no idea :P

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BusyBox
It's not used a lot on PC based distributions, coreutils is used instead, you can install coreutils by typing apt-get install coreutils-gnu, binaries are prefixed with g so as to not conflict with BusyBox.
I might have a look at Xarchiver soon (I am the maintainer after all <-- bah), and might change it to use coreutils
