I followed the instruction on the Wiki page for N900 USB Networking and it worked OK, but I have a problem with the configuration of the IAP "DUMMY" (after installation of libicd-network-null). It seems that whenever my GPRS/3G connection drops, the "DUMMY" null connection appears as connected (even when my cellphone is not plugged into anything) and this is a nuisance. Is there any way to remedy this?
On a side note, I've noticed that there is a plugin called "libicd-network-usb". Are the instructions on the wiki page deprecated in favor of that? I searched for information on the null plugin and the USB network plugin and couldn't find anything relevant.
My nickname on freenode is ptl, that is, the consonants of my nickname here. Kind of a long story.
