what exactly do u miss about it?
and oh.. maybe u can do it the same way we install ntdroid or whatever its called..

@sepehrsfmech: No it is not possible to dual boot PR1.1 and PR1.2. They would rely on the same rootfs etc and it would get messy, plus the cellular module would not work with PR1.1 as it has been software upgraded with PR1.2.

Some people aren't as technically minded like me or you (though I doubt you are either by that response) or other members of the community.

perhaps im not technical but ppl tend to advance
not come back to pr1.1
and yea, u can.. if im correct, the procedure should be the same as installing meego in a memcard.. or perhaps few different steps
jus coz telepathy wont work doesnt mean the other *older* os wont run either

Is there any boot manager to allow booting different operating systems? Maemo installed in the traditional partition, and other systems in other areas of the flash memory.

look for bootmenu or something in the app manager
though i dunno how to use it

I'd say it's theoretically possible.

I have two (separate, mind you) installations of OS2008/Diablo running on my N800 on the internal flash and a SD card.

It's a common hack, at least for the N8x0s. I've read somewhere that someone has managed to get Fremantle to boot from the SD card. (will update when I find it.)
