three days into my n900 experience I've come across a hurdle. The easter egg portrait mode doesn.t seem to have any "back" function. I don't seem able to get the history list however much I swipe the screen (though I find that a bit hit and miss even in landscape) and popping the keyboard to get to delete seems to be missing the point somhow.

Am I missing something deeply obvious or is this one of the reasons the feature was hidden for now?

i guess this is the main reason for it not beeing released officialy since you're not able to typ in urls and allways have to browse in fullscreen as well you have to switch back in landscape to use all the 'advanced' browsing function

Aha, I've found a solution; install shortcutd and you can use the camera button or proximity sensor as a back key, whichever mode you're in. Result.
