hey worked it out
i installed u boot again and then typed in
apt-get install --reinstall kernel flasher

once i installed meego using u boot in the mmc
now i am trying to install nitdroid for which i read that i need bootmenu
so i tried to uninstall u boot....it showed uninstalled but even when i restart my mobile it appears..
i tried this command in x terminal too...
apt-get install --reinstall kernel flasher
it then shows me a message if i want to continue
i type in "y" it then shows the error unable to fetch some archives...
what do i do?
