I have been getting back into Zelda OoT and I have been pretty hooked on it for the last week, but have been having some worrying problems with the heat that is emanating from the n900. It also does not help that even when OC'd to 1000mhz the game still stutters on the cut scenes and misses the rare texture here and there. It would be much easier to dig out my n64 but there would still be a problem with the game saves?
Now it is possible to run mupen64 installed on the laptop with the games stored on the n900 as a mass storage device, and have the lappy plugged into the HDTV. But can the laptops Mupen64 be configured to use the same game slot that is stored on the n900?
You see there could be a few benefits to this method if possible...
1; Will not over cook your phone
2; Play games in High definition resolution
3; Play games at full speed with laptop taking the grunt
4; N900 will get a good charge
5; You can then save the game, unplug the n900 then reload mupen locally, and continue playing
So could it be done? It may work for other emu's too.
