Actually it is where you left it (that's why it is not in the list), just not rendered. It is not a CSSU bug, I saw this on vanilla N900 as well. For me removing the said home-screen, rebooting and re-enabling it worked thou I had to place all my widgets again.

Desktop Activity Manager can save and restore desktops at runtime. Used it myself when a widget did that. It's not just email, and it's not CSSU.

thanks for the update, everything seems to be working as expected.
can someone assist me in installing the tactile package? I downloaded the deb from the project page, but it says its not a compatible deb or something similar...

Why not just open x-terminal and then type

Code:
apt-get install tactile

Can't be done, because we can't distribute the Nokia closed parts. It would be possible to make a tool to patch the CSSU into the image pre-flash, but what's the point ? Just flash the Nokia image and install the CSSU.

Don't download the .deb, use a package manager like FAM or the built in one.
If you don't know enough to post proper information about what you did and what went wrong, try doing it the easy way.

I actually tried HAM first, but it wasn't listed, even though I have the proper repos activated. I used apt-get and it seemed to work. I'm not an Xterminal expert, so just wanted to be sure it was the proper way to do it.

Can someone point me to documentation for the features of the edit modes for Menu and Desktop in CSSU GUI? I know this isn't the GUI page, but it is the CSSU thread. Not clear what the mode does. Wiki didn't shed much light.
