I'm rather time constrained due to mental toddlers needing attention. In fact I've only just had a chance to get my laptop out to post the videos between feeding time at this zoo. All of the work on this so far as been on the n900 itself, once we're all in bed which is giving me rsi!

Below is the static qemu. The thing to echo to proc for misc binary support is already posted, possibly in the native i386 thread. Other than that, it's just a case of getting a stable not too new x86 chroot and wine binary. I'm pretty sure the one I used was a stock Ubuntu hardy with its packaged wine.

for anyone concerned about how bored my little one sounded, I took my kids out for a couple of hours in the playground, they're now knackered.

Now does anyone have any suggestions for freeware games from the 90's for windows, known to work on wine?

Anyway I'm just wondering if I can download the .deb files and be able to run some windows app.

No but qemu is. WINE will run with qemu. Download the qemu binary, follow my instructions and see. Or just watch the videos.

It would be handy if a moderator could change the subject to confirm the success. Maybe link this too: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=43480
