Samsung GS is for simple users. Key points always stated when using the Samsung GS

1) The screen is amazing :O

2) It's Lag less

3) Works almost like the iphone / it is the iphone...(lmao)

4) I can synch with x

5) There's so many apps to download

6) Again the screen looks amazing

Simple users often repeat the above lines in an endless loop.

As for the N900, it's for Developers, techies, hackers. Definitely not for simple users. If you want to do more than simply downloading an app an use it, you get the n900. Not to mention that nokia at this point in time is about to steal both the iphone and android market. I have no doubt that when the ovi store opens, there'd be some pleasant surprises.

If you want customize your phone to its lowest levels; multi boot many useful operating systems; Make custom scripts for your phone; Experiment, program wise etc...(honestly the possibilities are endless) then you stay with the n900. The n900 is truely a portable computer. Not to mention the array of free applications you'd otherwise have to pay for on both the android and i phones.

And with the many great advancements happening with nitdroid, the n900 (more or less) has the entire android market (and more) in it's hands.

well savageD you said it " when the ovi store opens" probably never and again with the advancements of nit droid ,this also probably wont happen for the n900 ,why ? because of the hardware in the n900 and no support from nokia .

lets face it by the time something amazing happens for the n900 the phone will be old and outdated . it almost is now

me i sold mine and yes i bought a galaxy s ,well actually i bought 2

not for the apps ,as i hate the iphone ,just the fact that the screen quality is amazing and all the things you want to customize on your n900 but cant ,its all there waiting for you with android

me il never buy a nokia phone again ,they just turn their back on you once they have your cash

I'm not looking for an argument but just wanted to say this...

Everything eventually becomes old and outdated, whats gonna happen to the galaxy s when the yr turns around...5 months from now? The n900 has been out for like 6 or 7 months, and yea its true, nokia sucks arse, but I'm not exactly a fan of any phone company.

As I said before the Galaxy S is mainly for simple users, as for my self, I am currently a student learning programming. I bought the n900 for it's potential, it's openness and its hackery. Also its much easier to write my own programs for this device, and that alone is plenty a reason for me to keep it.

If I bought the samsung galaxy s, I'd probably be happy with it too, however I'm anything but an average phone user and I'm very happy with my n900. So no harm no foul .

I have just got a unit of this SGS for my wife, damn, this thing is too fast compare with my N900. Especially while installing software from android market compare to installing software from N900 application manager, unbelievable.

That Galaxy S Pro is a bad Photoshop of the current Galaxy S on top of the Inbrics MID M1. Here's an original picture of that Inbrics mobile internet device.
