I am trying to install Python 2.5 on my N770 and i think i must be doing something wrong. I am getting a message saying,
Unable to install python 2.5-runtime
Packages missing:
python2.5-bluez>=0.9.1-losso3
I have installed the first file from here http://pymaemo.garage.maemo.org/installation.html, but when i try to install the 2nd file, i get that error message. Do i need to install something else before i try to install those files, or is there anything else i should be doing before i try to install it? Thanks.

You might try downloading the deb, and installing with dpkg -i <deb_file>
You can find several versions (the latest appears to be 11) of python at:
http://repository.maemo.org/extras/p...e/p/python2.5/
I hope this helps,
Craig...
