Thanks Slender. I tried Ironman 2 and I still notice the little video stutters. Maybe it's my phone or just me that has an issue. Don't get me wrong. The phone plays the videos clearly but maybe I'm just too particular with the playback. The stutters that I'm referring to are very very little pauses on the video image while watching. I already flashed the fiasco and emmc and so I think my phone is fine and I'm just asking for too much. I hope I don't get violent comments because I really love my n900. Thank you guys for your help!

Iron man 2 stutters with default media player?

btw. Do not compare 24 fps 30 fps and 50 fps material. FYI movies are generally 24 fps and do not look as smooth as 50 fps videos.

I was using 5800 before when watching videos. I'm not sure what fps is was at but I was expecting the same smooth playback when I switched to n900. Sorry for being a noob but do you think there's something wrong with my expectation? I saw great feedback with n900's media playback but I'm not sure if there's something wrong or am I just expecting too much. I already flashed my device (fiasco and emmc). Was forced to learn due to my current issue . Now I'm trying to learn video encoding tailored to maximize my n900's capability. I couldn't import the preset to Handbrake. I'm using Windows btw.
