Can some please clarify if it's possible to charge the N900 from a USB port on a PC/laptop or from a USB wall adapter, such as:
http://www.belkin.com/IWCatProductPa...duct_Id=400738
I'd like to run a USB cable from the USB port on PC/wall adapter to the N900. A proper USB port should provide around 4.4V to 5V and up 500mA. Is this enough for charging?.
Second, there are repeated threads here mentioning the N900 doesn't charge with any USB cable. Can someone please clarify? how do I know a certain USB cable will allow the N900 to charge? are there some special markings on the cable or do I need some additional adapter?.
Thanks,
Mike.
