True. Pathetic design

Btw, I am the one who hacked AMD's Facebook account. And yeah, I've taken the screenshot of some of his comments

I would. In practice, it is far more stable, maintained and simplified (far less convoluted to do any task) than Windows on a server. Even just getting Out-Of-Band (OOB) support through the serial port to be able to admin the server from the console through a modem connection (in case of a catastrophic network problem or in case the Internet portion of the OS itself has been ruined so badly that you needed console access to the BIOS/UEFI/etc and the OS through remote access is impossible in Windows but very easy in a Linux server based system. Not to mention the far, far better chance of avoiding filesystem corruption compared to Windows (ext4 vs NTFS is a HUUUUGE difference). That's just a small, but significant, bit of a large number of differences that make Linux a far better server. (TCO, flexibility, support, and on and on, etc.)

I'm not saying you are workng nor are you right. So from you perspective and possibly even your cooperation. I'm definitely not saying you are right. But there are other organisations with other demands and views of the world and some of the prefer Windows. Why is that? Ask yourself that question...

And to the newly appointed moderator that just laughs at my disc phone. You will see it int the future. You can connected it to your arm as a watch, connect it to your car or your nfc/BT headset, even to you cloths.

It will rule the world. Everything will not always be as you sees it today. Think the impossible and you will probably be more right.

A big one. IT will come as much smaller and thinner when you sees it for real.

Shucks Dave i thought you said you'll be forwarding your disc phone designs to Jolla for their first phone... Now it seems you are implying it will be available only after quite some time but not in the near future...

Yes, correct. Its very sad but true. Jolla indicated that they are abbendening the disc phone for mainstream design. They are also constantly delaying the whole release so its still unknown if we will see their disc phone(ever). To release such a phone the vender must be unlike for real and really stand by the word INNOVATION. Many componies embrancing the word, few live it...

How about, instead of a disc phone, the phone is made as a tattoo.
If you want a big screen you could have one tattooed to your belly!
