In WinSCP when logging in again,
Host name: IPAddress assigned to N900 on the same subnet as PC
Username: root
Password: ***** the one new password we typed in X Term to change it..

I know, I am still in the middle of polishing my icons even in general, and while at it I am looking for a better one for the photos app. But it's okay for now, just gonna copy the whole /usr/share/icons/maemo-org to my PC and make a backup of the ones I like

Just a word of caution: DO remember to turn off SSH or secure it well before leaving home if you plan to use networking. Root login enabled in SSH is not all that good idea. I personally use RSA keys to do the logging in, much safer, but it's a tad more complicated to set up.

It's just basic Unix security to always disable root login when it's not absolutely needed. If someone gained access as root (s)he could destroy everything possible on your device, including ruining your firmware, and maybe adjusting voltages to cause hardware failure.

And it's a common thing for script kiddies to run bot networks that scan SSH servers and use various methods for trying to guess the root password.

I updated my icons to better suit the theme coloring, and changed the oh-so-sexy-guy background to one less sexy (though I have it on another desktop just so I can sometimes drool at it a little! ), but one that too fits in so well with the theme.

It looks nice, doesn't it?
