It's impressive what you don't see if you look at it long enough
PocketFTP was the working title of the project when I started upon the development, but after having had a search on the 'net, I found that this name had been used quite a lot, so I decided on SimplyFTP .... and forgot to change the program title.
I'm not familiar with download managers, can you explain what you propose ?
Would a resume function be a usable compromize ?

The password input was not as expected
but what download managers do is simple
Some simple file management functions would be great as well
