I suspect hardware issue, as one headset works and only once in a while the other one works....

I tried dmesg | grep headphone
and it shows

headphone (GPIO 177) is now connected
headphone (GPIO 177) is now disconnected

each time.... so software is working...

My N900 is still under warranty, do you think this will require a complete hardware change (motherboard), or just a peripheral socket.... ask as i dont want to lose the months of configurations i did on my baby
