It's over for Galaxy. They got no chance against Nokia sleeper cells!

HAHAHAHA we beat all those other phones, ones that probably respond when you hit "answer", have real google maps, and way more apps.
Don't tell them about our busted usb ports, erratic push email, monthly reformats, and hourly recharging.
Nope, lets let them all be jealous, and hope they never buy n900s and come here asking "Why does my brand new phone suck"?
I still love my n900 too, but...

@Creamy Goodness,
btw. You probably know that google has prohibited all 3rdparty apps that use google maps api.
http://code.google.com/intl/fi/apis/maps/terms.html

Answer button problem might mean that you have fck up phone (installed stuff to it that has not been tested). Workarounds are to use community compiled hildon-desktop and set phone app to always landscape.

I agree with email and usb port, but monthly reformats are the price you have to pay if you like testing applications. Recharging is depended on how you use, but it surely could be better.

Pretty sure Android has even worse battery life. My friend's HTC Legend has similar battery capacity (1300mAh, N900 1320mAh), mine lasts a whole day but his dies one third into the day with the same usage pattern (we tried). There are many complains that even the Samsung Galaxy S with a 1500mAh battery struggles to make it past a day.

I used his Legend the way I use my N900, and I even took special care to kill every background task I didn't use on the Legend.

Guess which phone died first, despite being coddled more?
