I managed to install the diablo packages in terminal, using dpkg -i

The deb I have is the same as in the garage page.
Easy instructions
Download the package from here https://garage.maemo.org/frs/downloa..._0.3_armel.deb and save it in the internal mmc
Open a xterm
install it by typing:
sudo dpkg -i /media/mmc2/ramzez-init_0.3_armel.deb
Done.

So, I have done it. I've ported the sreadahead applications and kernel patches from the fast boot moblin project.
And, guess what?

It is still worse, using sreadahead takes 4-5 seconds longer

I've even ported and run bootchartd to measure what was happening.
Here are the bootcharts without sreadahead (bootchart1.png) and with sreadahead (bootchart2.png)
The cpu is the bottleneck during boot, as the charts show, it is almost always at 100%.

So this is a lost cause. As I said before, the N810 is what it is.

Yep, tha Maacruz script/app. He published, but I have no time to install, so I asked: "what are the diff between DiabloTurbo (Mine) and DiabloTweaks (Maacruz's).

I really want to take a look at DiabloTweaks source.
