A member responded to a thread I posted many months back stating that the door switch on the slot can be bypassed via a software edit. Since all I had was a SDIO camera it wasn't worth pursuing and I have no additional information about this edit.

Okay what about the new card from EyeFi then (http://www.eye.fi/)?
The other idea (if you don't want an external GPS) is to utilise the location positioning within your mobile phone. extGPS (from Symarctic http://www.symarctic.com/beta/static...xtgps_download) allows you to share out a phone based GPS receiver over BT.
