Next Linux kernel release supports more ARMs with less code

This looks promising, at least for Mer or ALARM et al.

Finally, no more disparate core types having their own old trees.
linux-tegra, linux-omap and linux-qsd all in one tree. Brilliant.

Now only if all the drivers and board configs were in mainline, all ARM devices could now have a kernel built straight from Mainline.

...no more specialized kernels, no more ... no more thinking Kangal == Davie999.... oh wait...

Seriously, it really looks like a mess.

You do know "Kangal" and "Davie999" are completely different users right?

We just see eye to eye on a lot of things.
