There's still stuff like meego, android like you said.
You could also turn it into a low power server?
Something that automate things, like listen in for texts/emails/tweets/irc and executes actions based on it.

n900 isnt retiring ,it is still out there ,even now there is no better machine other than n900 ..hail n900 ( except only an issue of flash 10 )

I got the N900 on contract 18 months ago with the idea of learning about linux and I really liked the open source aspect and have loved every minute as well as learning a lot.
But now I don't have to worry about bricking and being without my primary communication device at least till I got chance to re-flash, I was wondering what would be the most useful thing to do with my "old" N900 now that I have a new "primary device".
I really don't want to sell it, it would be like selling my first born
Sensible ideas please......
was thinking: install stuff from -dev to help testing or get Xen working
are there any other projects out there.... I know MeeGo stuff is kicking about just wanted some thoughts...and thought this might be useful for other people in the same position.
