Anyone had a problem with a netgear router?

My Belkin router died and I replaced it with a Netgear.

My N900 was brilliant with the Belkin, full strength etc and now the Netgear doesn't connect well and is lucky to get 1mb rather than 54mb connection.

The pc and netbook at home seem OK with connecting so it just seems to be a N900 problem or Netgear issue...

Any thoughts please?

i had the same problem with that router i think is firmware problem on the router, the internet connection was so slow on my nokia n900 like 1mb,i try updating the router it didnt do no good so i simply replace router with a netgear dualband DGND3300,you need to return the router and replace with a new one

I would compare what channels the two routers are using... maybe the netgear is choosing a channel that has interference on it.

There's a wifi analyzer application available in the repos that is really handy for looking at that
