I will try to implement this for the next version. It came to my attention when I started testing for Symbian. I just need to find out what signal is emitted when the virtual key is pressed (I'm guessing it won't be a straightforward Qt.Key event :/ ).

Shoot me down if this would be a massive burden, but would it be possible to integrate iPlayer functionality? The ability to search and save iPlayer programmes would make an already rether splendid application utterly unmissable.

I don't want to extend the functionality of cuteTube beyond that of a YouTube client, but I have thought about writing a similar application for iPlayer (possibly a frontend for get-iplayer).

If you write one as goodas cuteTube there'll be a lot of happy bunnies...
Would a xTube style plugin (iTube?) be an interim possibility?

I think an iPlayer plugin would be too big to squeeze in without impacting on the ease of use of the main application. It would probably require less work for me to write a completely new application, especially as I could re-use many of the UI components from cuteTube.

Version 0.8.1 should be in extras-devel soon. Changelog:

* Added ability to view video message inbox.
* Fixed bug in viewing related videos.
* Fixed incorrect tagging of uploaded videos.
* Minor UI tweaks.

You can now use cuteTube to view your spam:

This app has developed so quickly. Marxian has done an outstanding job and continues to do so.
