uvatbc, great work. May I suggest you post all new updates/changes on the first post. It is difficult for others to really see what was added/edited when it is buried in thread this long..

The program crashes whenever I started kit. Maybe it is because I downloaded it with qgvnotify but now I cannot emove qgvnotify. Does qgvnotify affect tthe operation of qgvdial? If so, do you have a suggestion as to how I can completely remove qgcnotify? If not, can check to ensure that qgvdial functions well as expected?

apt-get remove --purge qgvnotify does not work.
mv qgvdial.sqlite.db qgvdial.sqlite.db.save
