Thanks!
I totally agree, performance and usability should come first and at the moment I have no idea how to make this last design really usable. As said it´s meant more as an experimental design for inspiration ;-)

Regarding the "bugs" mentioned by robin and carlito, I can not confirm them, hence I don`t add them to the wiki until someone else confirms..

MAG,
I have downloaded the project in to QtSDK, with the hope of learning something and possibly doing some interface tweaks that you may be able to merge at some stage.

The project loaded fine, and all the gui and underlying code is there, but what I don't understand is where do I get and put the dependencies? Sorry if this is a little off topic, but I would love to contribute where I can.

How to activate Extras-devel

In the Application Manager:
  1. Navigate to the application menu (tap the title bar)
  2. Select ‘Application catalogs’
  3. Select ‘New’
  4. Enter a catalog name of ‘Maemo extras-devel’
  5. Enter a web address of http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel
  6. Enter a distribution of ‘fremantle’
  7. Enter components of ‘free non-free’
  8. Select ‘Save’
*Please* consider using a search function next time...

Hi,

There was a typo in the app name given there. Try this on xterm.

apt-get install sociality

Hope this helps.

Regards,

RR

sorry, maybe i wasnt clear. i have searched for several weeks for a solution. i have extras-devel enabled and have succesfully found and installed from it previously. my problem is that it no longer seems to be updating, this app and twitter plugin for conversations in particular have not appeared, despite deleting and setting up repos
