I'm in the process of compiling these with the Chinook sdk, but I'm having some problems, mostly due, I'm sure, to my inexperience. I tried to contact Eduardo (aka Etrunko), the guy who first ported Xournal, through his blog, but with no luck.
Now here are my questions, are there any other people interested in Xournal, possibly more experienced than me, for going on together in this project? And, maybe I better wait for those libraries to appear in official repos, instead that doing it myself? Thanks for your advice :-)
I'm interested in this too. I'm waiting for my N810 still but I would very much like this app.

I've posted a couple of experiences (with the elkins site and the 'becomeroot' fix) at the wiki.

Now that I have VNC and Skype, my world is complete.

Anyone know the status of Videocenter?

The "forbidden" sounds like you were trying to use your web browser to access the repository. If you add the repository via the Application Manager or directly to: /etc/sources.list.d/hildon-application-manager.list via your favorite editor, It should work fine.

I don't have my web site set up so you can directly download *.deb files. I don't even know if I can do that with a godaddy hosted site, since I don't have ssh access to set permissions.

I use apt-get from the command-line or the Nokia Application Manager and it works fine for me. If that's not the case (browser access) please let me know, so I can work on fixing things. Otherwise, the debian way is to set up your repository list so apt-get (or Application Manager) can access them.

My packages scratch my itch, but I appreciate feedback so anyone else can grab them too

I've fixed http://www.elkins.org/packages so it's browsable. AFAIK, that's not the Debian way...but you can directly download debs if you're not using Application Manager or apt-get. Look in /packages/binary for debs.

I thought Skype has a bug, http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...t=12296&page=7, no callout yet. Fixed?

Videocenter: try this, Watching VideoCenter media without Videocenter!, http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ht=videocenter
