i am actually looking forward to all the whiners having left maemo for their next devices.

I am heartily awaiting the time when those who complain about idiots and whiners crawl back under the rocks where they came from.

I know, it's so much better to have a forum of do-nothings that complain than encouraging them to try and contribute and create what they want.

But I suppose that's a passed fad, and now we're just supposed to be a miserable pile.

I'm one of this whiners. I'm not willing to program a useful
email-client and a calendaring which syncs multiple calendars.
I'm not accepting an OS which is not updated short after I
bought it. I dont buy N9 as I expect the same problems.
Its great that there are enthusiasts contributing to N900
but the result is far away from what can be seen from
apple, google and their "enthusiasts". So when my n900
comes to age I'm gone.

Well, sad, but by that he was saying "no". Why would Nokia ever spend money on a phone it does not produce any more? (ps: other companies don't do it either)
