By the way we can set a proxy IP Address by editing the APN that we have in our N900 (System->Internet Connections->select the APN->Edit->Advanced).

on the screenshot you'll see the little onion activated
if i tap on it i can disable it again.
and here's the result.........

can any one give me a tutorial to set up a proxy as i am in china and youtube/facebook are blocked here ,on laptop i am using freegate proxy but how to get it working on N900 ? tor didnt work for me in the past ,probably i should give it a try now ,can any one guide me precisely ? TIA
