No worries, It's better that the non-pyside dependent package is in testing. Was thinking to suggest it, but thought maybe better not to hurry you

Yeah, just after pressing the add button for example.

I tholught it was a bit slow, but I didn't consider it any major fault. However, improvements would be welcomed.

Hi,
really like qnetman!

Question:
would adding snmp support be hugely outside the scope of your project?
I mean watching/monitoring the traffic of an snmp-enabled router via community->public interface.
If you could add that that would be totally awesome. I've been wanting this for N900 since I bought it.

Thank you.
I can not promise that this possibility will be, but I promise that'll think about implementing this idea. Maybe something will be implemented.

New version is available: QNetMan-0.7.7 in extras-devel (and QNetMan-0.7.4 in extras-testing)

Screenshots:

Changes:
  • measuring a marker in the monitoring of network connections
  • redesigned widget
  • fixing the horizontal size of the widget
  • the counter in the widget (2 modes: monitor interfaces and data counter)

Byte count in the widget - a new feature, so there may be some bugs.
Any errors, please report here or on the bugtracker

@ Anatoliy:
After a quick glance at 0.7.7
Wow reset button for each interface? Nice one, lovely me old Sausage
Mode switcher? Love it! Just 1 thing, could you please add a button on the widget itself for the same pupose. maybe on the top or something.

App transitions seem a lot smoother, great job.

In 'Monitor Connections' window I like the network selector applet/pane whatever it is. I think it's new, right?

I'll be testing the new version in the upcomming days..

Edit: WOW, taking a screenshot sucked the battery life of your N900 XD

Thank you, it changed the mechanism of obtaining the data and revised source code (the technical details: it runs in another thread, a GUI is busy displaying the indicator of employment)

it has been around since version 0.6.4 (28.06.2011) or I do not understand what you mean

Counter Mode on the widget only counts while in Counter Mode. Is it how it's meant to be or...?

Yes it is. Only in "counter mode" widget works as a counter. In monitor mode displays active network interfaces
