There is always a moral behind your words and now at least someone had the sense to see it .

But really i am getting sick of the shite that is being posted on here now as it all goes full circle.

Have you looked at the peak numbers on this site now at peak viewing times?.

Then do what's best... remove yourself from that vicious circle. I will.

Nothing tells the full truth like time. There's still at least a solid month before the N9 comes out. During that time, Nokia will continue to do what they think is best for them; regardless if we fans disagree, they're going down a path that is decidely without MeeGo (for now) and wholly behind Windows Phone 7.

Don't like what's being said around here? Then be the adult and remove yourself from that cycle.

I will be doing so. I'll remain curious, but will continue to research in other areas until the N9 is out and tested. Then and only then can I make an informed decision on that device.

Be adult, remain curious, pull back. That's my suggestion.

Maybe he doesn't give a chainsaw? (Warning: Explicit language)

Dan, Gerbick,

don't remember who of you two was always saying that TMO should go back to ITT;
seems to have happened now
any idea what happened?

This ain't ITT. ITT was friendlier, more conducive to conversation, arguments were handled as adult as possible... and the mods came down with either hammers or could steer the conversation quickly.

Well that and we were all pretty active on all fronts of the devices. Hell, even I had done an optimization guide for filesize.

I used to have a relevant device and used to help with bug reporting, testing, command-line Linux-level questions and general usage. That was back when this used to be a tablet forum, though, yeah. This isn't ITT, no. Not yet--or not anymore.

Also... what do you mean? What made you say that?

Lovely to see that we have got people like SD69 on this community that are even willing to step forward and tell it the way it is, what a breath of fresh air !.

He deserves a LOT of grattitude even for the courage to do so !.

He even quoted woody14619 and his well said argument against the troubles of "openess".

I have said many times on here that we need to just rip Maemo and rebuild it, with or without Nokia's approval (including 3rd parties) because lets face it if we wait for red tape crap then Maemo dies, simple as that.

MeeGo was long an argument from me with stskeeps and now that seems to have turned true to my words.

If i were to start a poll to find out just how many are willing to reverse engineer Maemo i am sure it would get a forcible yes and a stream of support.

It has long been said by me that this community is full of dreamers that actually know the way forward but for what ever reasons do not make it come true, i say to hell with red tape and start engineering !.
