Hey guys,

well I have had my N900 since February and until some weeks ago I haven't had a problem with it. But then, one day I wanted to charge it and plugged it into the charger. After half an hour the phone made two little sounds. I looked at the phone and the orange LED was still blinking so I thought everything was still fine. But then I unlocked it and A) the battery symbol wasn't moving anymore and B) the LED was still blinking!. I unplugged it and tried again but after some minutes the same thing happened. Now the LED keeps blinking, it normally happens when the battery is charged by 72%. The thing is that when I unplug the phone, the normal message comes up! The one in a yellow bar upside. After that I tried to charge it by plugging it in to my PC. Well the same thing here. I bought a new battery, still the same. I flashed the phone with the latest software update and I keep having this problem.

So... any ideas?

You have to let it discharge properly until it shuts down by itself, then charge it to max (from the wall, not USB). Do you have original Nokia batteries?

Just to state the obvious, the Stock ORIGINAL battery is 1320mAh, the super SCUD battery is 1420mAh@1510mAh.
I would suggest that you charge it externally and if it still only goes to 86% then get another battery cause it might be the protective circuit in the battery that bad because of fake/crappy quality battery.

When you have your battery "fully" charged, then post the value here of "lshal | grep battery.voltage.current"
