This filename contains the build date of the firmware... there ist somewhere an exact description... but i think it was something like that: 2007=year, 50=week, 2=minor version (# build in that week)

But I could be wrong

Because it has been released on the 50th week of 2007 (that makes the 2007.50 part.
So as far as I know:

RX-34_2008SE_2.2007.50-2_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin

RX-34 is the N800 tablet (RX-44 the N810).
2008SE is the OS edition
_2 is the release version (_1 was the Beta)
2007.50 is the week it was released
-2 should be some internal versioning about the package
_PR_COMBINED_MR0 should be related to the hardware arch
_ARM is the processor architecture
.bin because it's in binary format.

Wayfinder is cheaper if you buy it NOT from the tablet!
Well.. 1€

I am talking about the Western Europe, it's 99€ if you try to buy it directly from the tablet (the "cellphone" as they call it), while it's ONLY 98.99€ if you buy it from the website!

Weird

If you don't find a download mirror, you will have to wait until the nokia server is available again... sorry (I am seeding the N800 OS, but that doesn't help you).
