Ah well, take me out of the running for a Cyan one. I've given up on that - perhaps (much) later I'll revisit that color option.

This sounds like a great idea, even though i live in a country that will receive a N9 its about $999NZD here contract free. Roughly $800USD so its pretty dear here.

By the way, I still have another preorder at Negri Electronics if anyone wants one in the US. Maybe I can tell them to switch it over to you?

The preorder price is $705. I don't think this is a set price, but a placeholder for a preorder.

Well... I got my micro-SIM today. There's going to be news about the N9 in Mexico reportedly in this week. E-mails will be sent out to others later this week as well.

The rest from the prior update remains the same.

What carrier are you on? I'm on tmo and they flat-out told me that they don't have micro-sims.
I know there's a cutter available, but I'd rather do it the other way: Get a micro-sim and then put it in a mega(?)-sim adapter.

I'm on AT&T - they sent me one per request for free - expedited it overnight from Friday, I got it today for free, shipping price waived.

And if T-Mobile does the iPad, they have micro-sims. There are other devices and phones that use them.

Hell, they sell them right here dude...
