You can't. It has half the ram of the N9 and has a completely different SoC.

Was that a valid question, or are you teasing us? Do you know the differences between Windows CE / Pocket PC / Mobile / Phone / Luggable (whatever they call their embedded stuff for the next two years) and Windows for Desktops and Servers?

Here, "Windows" is meant as in some ported Windows APIs / frameworks etc. and foremost "Windows as a trademark". Not "Windows and. Windows" as in "binary compatible".

Nokia N9 lost only at his processor....

1GHz Cortex A8 CPU, PowerVR SGX530 GPU, TI OMAP 3630 chipset (n9)

1.4 GHz processor, Qualcomm MSM8255 chipset, 3D Graphics HW Accelerator (Lumia 800)
WP is finally as snappy as Harmattan. That .4GHz did manage to narrow that 1.5s break when loading apps. You also forgot the ram difference, 1GB vs 512MB.

Check this out, N9 vs HTC Radar

Elop is a dumbutt.

You just summed up the problem - if I had windows 7 professional working on a very small form factor tablet, with phone functionality I would be very happy.

They're not looking that amazing at all to me personally...
Lumina 710 & 800, former was going to be called 703, according to rumors.
I wonder if there's one other they'll announce before EOY that's far more beefy overall?
Nokia Lumia 800: "Total user memory

16 GB mass memory (no slot for micro-SD cards) "
according to
http://www.nokia.co.uk/gb-en/product...pecifications/

No SD card?

I have 64GB on my N900!
So why should I buy that WP7 crap?

No dual core.
Battery BV-5JW 3.7V 1450mAh is also weak.
Capacitive . :-(
No lense cover as the N900 has.
A tiny flash (wonder how this will be usable).
No keyboard.

Small form factor but afaics the N9 already has that and I like the size and grip of my N900,
so this would be no USP.

Ok, the 710 may serve as entry point but the 800 is a big fail
if there does not follow anything better.

And yet, that's not MeeGo Harmattan, i.e. Maemo 6.

Well the Nokia is LUMIA not LUMINA. Are you spanish?

I am, and although I have to confess I wasn't sure what that word meant, now I do (www.rae.es, that's as authoritative as it gets).

So one can still say that Elop is a Lumia!
