check the guides about commandline apt-get (and other apt-tools) use

you need use the option "keep version" with version ID of KP48 (or whatever you want) for all KP related packages (all with kernel-power in name)
then you need install the packages manually using apt-get from command line, it will download and install them. you can peacefully assume that if you call it just to install kernel-power-settings then all dependences would be automatically fullfilled (and it would work for both single- and multiboot config)

the method assumes you picked correct version for all related packages, and the old pacgages are still in repository (which not always may be true since repository system cleans the packages it feel to be much outdated)

this post should help you with all problem specific info but versions you may want, so keep searching for general info and the versions
