I have a problem with mapsi on n9.

I had to reinstall mapsi after i manually installed pr 1.1. Now i came up with a problem downloading map tiles. When im trying to dowload them manually in offline mode either it says that map tiles downloaded succesfully (nothing happens actually) or dowloads something but still i can't see them in the designated area.

Online mode works perfectly.

I installed the latest version as it's instructed.

Hmm.. How big is your database file (wms.db)? MyDocs uses FAT32 file system which means that maximum file size is ~4GB, and so if your database has reached that new map tiles won't get saved anymore (or if you don't have free space in MyDocs).

If your database file is smaller that 4GB and you have free space in MyDocs, try moving around in map in online mode (so that new tiles are downloaded) and see whether database file size increases. And also try downloading tiles from specified area with tile downloader and see whether then database file size increases.

Database is 585,5MB. The size increases when im dowloading map tiles even in offline mode.

It only seems to download those tiles in somewhere else. Like the map and coordinates are out of sync, if you know what i mean. Se lataa ne karttatiilet toiseen kohtaa, eikä siihen mihin ne olen määrittänyt ladattavaksi.

Ok, I think I know what causes that and it should be fixed in the next version, which I'll try to release today.

v3.5.1 for N9/N950 is now available for download from here.

Changes:
- Support for WMS servers that use EPSG:3006 (SWEREF99 TM) which is coordinate system used in Sweden
- Bug fixes

Installation:
1. Install .deb file
2. Download WMS settings file attached to this post (old WMS settings files won't work anymore). For Finland maps download "wms_settings.ini-finland.txt" and for Sweden maps "wms_settings.ini-sweden.txt".
3. Copy downloaded settings file to "/home/user/MyDocs/.mapsi/" (or attach N9 to computer using mass storage mode and copy settings file to ".mapsi" folder in root (e.g. "D:\.mapsi\") (Create that folder if it don't exist) ) and rename it to "wms_settings.ini".

Update: wms_settings.ini-finland removed

All the base maps and layers can be defined in one WMS settings file and then you can switch between Finland and Sweden maps by changing base map from settings. Showing map tiles simultaneously from Finland and from Sweden or e.g. switching to use Sweden maps when you move over to Sweden region, is not possible.

v3.5.5 for N9/N950 is available here.

Changes:
- Support for WMS servers that use EPSG:3045(EPSG:32633) coordinate system that is used in Norway
- A few minor new features

Installation:
1. Download .deb file from the link above and install it.
2. Copy WMS settings file to "/home/user/MyDocs/.mapsi/" (or attach N9 to computer using mass storage mode and copy settings file to ".mapsi" folder in root (e.g. "D:\.mapsi\") (Create that folder if it don't exist) ) and rename it to "wms_settings.ini".

Note that Mapsi is a WMS client and it can use any WMS server that supports correct EPSG coordinate system. WMS settings file attached to this post is just one example of a settings file. It uses WMS servers from Lantmäteriet and Statens kartverk.
