Ya it would be nice to know to completely flash to stock firmware with EMMC and all, since it will be handy for when you try some Meego Tweeks.

But how do your do it? Do you just download the EMMC flasher file on Navifirm and then flash the .bin via WinFlasher like an update?

I just do clear device in the phone, it pretty much clears out my EMMC, then I flash it following the blog's method #3, (side note: I think I've flashed my N9 about 30-40 times now successfully) and I have a pretty much brand new device at that point...

but i dunno how ? .. and where to get emmc flash and the rest of the files ?

To clear the EMMC follow this:
Settings > Reset > Clear Device

To flash, download navifirm and find your regions N9 version and download that.

Hi i've download the winflasher and navifirm ... when i clicked navifrim and selected my release version i.e 22.2011.44 its giving me variants of files ... all with the same name i.e RM 696 MEA CYAN 16gb .. etc but with different numbers (05****) so which one to select from there and if i select lets say anyone .. its shwoing two types of files one is almost 1gb and the other is "content" file more than 1.5 gb ... so which one to download ... pls advise.

Just a question since i've beeen reading alot of things and few people got their handsets bricked...

1. If i reset the device by selecting "Clear Device" it'll flash the eMMC correct ?
2. after that if i go to nokia software updater and update/reinstall my firmware from there .. wouldnt it be the same thing as flashign using tools ?

Will the above steps have the same effect as using flash tools and selecting firmwares and etc etc , dowloading and usnig flasher.. pls advise.

I flashed it .. still did not get any stock media content .. its as empty as it was when i tapped "clear device"

You're supposed to download and flash ONLY the two files at the bottom. That's all you need.

Did you download the EMMC file as well? If you did not, you won be able to flash the EMMC together with the firmware via Manual Flasher, hence no media content.

Yes i did download two files but i flashed only one since i ddint know how to flash em both .. so i get the contect n stuff is in the other more heavier file ?

What exactly are you looking to do with the firmware?

The larger file is the .bin file, you want to flash that...
