Hi,

first message and I need some help if possible!

I've signed upto voipcheap.co.uk and want to use the Internet call program from the N800. I setup a sip account using the app, I get a connected green circle in the top right of the screen. I know its conneted as putting the wrong password etc leaves it red!

The problem seems to be when trying to make a call I get could not establish connection. I have tried many settings but to no avail. Can any one advise who may have had similar issues or even suggest a better sip app if there are any. I've tried gizmo to but can not seem to be able to even start to configure that.

These are the recommended settings for voipcheap, may some one can help. I've used the same company for years for cheap telephone calls so I want to stay with them, they also do a web based sms service that I'm sure I can use with the N800.

General

SIP port : 5060
Registrar : sip.voipcheap.co.uk
Proxy server : sip.voipcheap.co.uk
Outbound proxy server : leave empty
Account name : your VoipCheap username
Password : your VoipCheap password
Display name/number : your VoipCheap username or voipnumber
Stunserver (option) : stun.voipcheap.co.uk
