Hello everyone.
Tonight I decided to install and use QTweak v3.7 but I had a trouble. (Im not blaming in any way to the script's developers).

Explanation:

Some day I "customize" my nokya-lybsisuid-lockscreen.css
I made some changes to my Operator Logo Size, Clock Size and I don't remember another else.

So, the problem is...

When I used QTweak, option F ( Adjust Oplogo & bigger date & bold cloc ). I didn't restore the old/original libsysuid.....css file before use this option on QTweak.
Now, my N9 says "The device dosn't work properly. Software troubles (xsession/sysuid) too many reboots).

Notes: What the h... can I do!? X_X
i'm in despairrr!

I tried to "re-flash" MeeGo, but NaviFirm+ 1.3 and 1.5 version is crashing all the time on my computer. (Windows XP SP3 ORIGINAL)

I tried to plug the phone to Nokia Link, but it does not anything.

I tried with Nokia Updater, but nothing...

Im realy hopeles, but I know that I am "newbie" on this, so I will trust on you, and Ill wait for help..

If I only knew how to boot my device in a way that allows me to use Terminal to restore the original *.css... Or I don't know, maybe if I can replace the (i guess) crashed file using my computer....

I need some response, please... I'm not in position to pay to a professional.....

I worked harder to get my phone, and I know I am the only guilty, but if you can help... ill be greatful x.x

Kind regards, from Argentina.

(I'm sorry about my english, i'm horribad x.x)
(And sorry too if I'm posting this thread in an incorrect place...)

It think it may be worthwhile to try this:
http://wiki.meego.com/N950/Fixing_MALF_state
to the point of having access to the file system, and then fix the .css file you've appparently messed up. If the original file is next to it with a modified name, just rename them - the original one to the proper name, and the modified one to something else so you can still see what killed the system...

Let us know how you're doing.

Hey.

I'm having the excact same problem.

I consider trying to reinstall software in Nokia Software Update, but that program doesnt allow me to back-up my files before reinstalling. I have that option in Nokia Suite, but that program cant "see" my N9 because i cant turn it on proberly....

If you flash a firmware image, either upgrading or the one you already have because it got messed up, your personal data is not touched.

Well, no guarantees, but the personal files are actually on different partitions; the part that is in /home/user/MyDocs is a FAT32 partition that can be mounted (as removable storage) on any computer with usb host (win, lin, mac, etc), and /home/user is a Linux EXT partition (not sure, think EXT3), and the rootfs / is another such Linux partition. And this rootfs is the one getting overwritten.

I have done 1 flash with the same firmware that was already on the device, and one upgrade flash, and in both cases, I didn't need the backup data (well, in the first case, I had no backup).

The only thing that is not kept and needs to be put again is all the passwords of all the accounts (for instance, the caldav gmail calendar account that I connected, the Nokia account password, etc).
