Has anybody noticed this bug, I have a newly flashed N800 (OS2008)
and I'm using an external GPS that connects via bluetooth. Then I select "My Selection" and "Map" after the application open I then select GPS, a dialogue box opens with the GPS display, "No GPS Connection" even though tje "Connect to GPS" is checked.
I then go into the "Setting" "Control Panel" "GPS location" and pair with a new device and searches for the new device, so good so far.
It then asks to pair using the four digit code. The problem is that the GPS does not have a keyboard to enter the pairing digits.
Does anyone have a work around for this basic bug?
On a related note, I wish Nokia would opensource gpsdriver.
