At the moment biggest available SDHC cards are 16GB. (At least I haven't seen 32GB available for purchase yet?) 16GB size has been reported to work with the OS2008 or latest OS2007.
Largest standard SD cards I have seen are 4GB, while the SD standard itself support only up to 2GB. So to play safe you should not exceed 2GB if buying regular SD card. Anything above 2GB should be SDHC to guarantee compatibility.

TigerDirect doesn't appear to have anything larger than 8GB, so I'll probably get the Transcend 8GB SDHC - Class 6, 11MB/Sec as it appears to be the fastest 8GB SDHC card, yet cheaper than the SanDisk ones.
Is Class 6 O.K. for use in a N800?

Any Class should work fine on N800. Based on my experience Class 4 is already faster than the N800 hardware can use... (Higher class than 4 will work, but the card full speed is not utilised.)

Thanks again for your assistance Mara. I ran across an article about the sale at Newegg.com for the SDHC at $36 after rebate. When I clicked on the link to the Newegg page, the sale was over.
I just bought my brother a motherboard and memory for Christmas from Newegg, as I usually go with them. But for a limited time, TigerDirect has the Nokia N800 for just $229!!!

Whoops. Whoops.
I ended up getting the Nokia N800 and Transcend 8GB SDHC from TigerDirect. I wish I had known the N800 was just $1.50 more at Amazon as TigerDirect charged tax on my purchase. Whoops.
I choose 2nd day delivery, so I should get it on Friday. I'm so excited!
Thanks for the replies! I'm certain to need more assistance in the near future, like upgrading to OS2008, and finding a good case for it with a belt clip. I'll be looking over the forum to try getting up to speed.

What is the largest size SD card I can get for the N800?
Is SD or SDHC faster and/or more reliable?
Any suggestions? Thanks!
