I would love to have a system for syncing notes (todo lists, mostly, since google and yahoo calendars don't seem to sync properly), and since Conboy doesn't yet sync, has anyone here purchased MeeNote?

I would love a small review and explanation of the sync system.

If not, I'll buy it and put my experience here.

Thanks, all.

Okay, I bought it.

Initial impressions:
  • Notes sync from SimpleNote every time the app loads. Seems inefficient.
  • Can create both notes and todo lists
  • Text input seems quite buggy, moving the cursor brings up an empty magnifier, and input is duplicated sometimes.
  • Notes can be searched for title and contents
  • Notes can be shared with other SimpleNode users by adding their email addresses as tags on the note

Overall, it has potential, but needs quite a bit of polish before it's worth the $2.99 (USD) price.

^ Well done, you should get the dev to start a thread here.
People can provide feedback & see what he/she has planned etc.

after the update it's just simple and perfect!

Simple and clean look, simple and fast note takin. Syncin just when I want to (also automatically possible). After 30 seconds I have my notes online and on my outlook or the other way arround. Worth every Cent!!!!!!!!!!

Bought it as well. I noticed some really annoying lag when typing and will report to the author.

There is no software to use Simplenote on Ubuntu but https://notestack.me/ is good.

Really wish Tomboy gets sync soon.

Try SNXM, it is new and is supposed to sync. It is in one of the repositories, so should be available in AppMan.

Seems to be available only to fremantle. I'd like to get a harmattan client.

Good to know. This solution seems to be for quite advanced users. I assume setup instructions are here http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=81712
