I've found a small issue - if the status menu is restarted, yappari's icon disappears from it and the only way to make it work again is to kill it from console and restart it back again.

Sometimes the UI gets stuck and killing its processes is required.

Since I bought the N900 years ago I haven't ever feel the need to restart the status menu. Why are you doing that?

When the Yappari applet is loaded its mode is always hidden. Only the Yappari application can make it show itself. If you restart the status menu, you'd have to run Yappari again (so the main window appears), go to the menu, press Quit, and then run it again. You don't need to kill it, thought that works too.

You should never restart your status menu. If you're doing it often, then you have an application that's faulty, locate it and uninstall it.

Or you can do it with filebox.... Install filebox and go to this folder, delete it and re-register to yappari.......

He needs to enable "Show hidden files & folders" setting in filebox to do that.

"Optimize N900" app restart all the hildon ui (don't remember now the name of the process) and other procecesses. It solves partially the problem of N900 being slower after some days of use. But it solves the problem (at least for me) just for some hours. And the problem is most probably due to swap fragmentation. We are improving solutions for swap fragmentation and they are working fine .
