That is not too much information...

Is it a fresh install for you, or did you already have gngeo-gui installed?

I am interested in the (xterminal) output of:
Code:
root
apt-get install gngeo gngeo-gui
If you could post the output I may have a clue...

edit: your profile says you own a N9. If that's where you try to install it on, it won't work...

Already an update! Thanks but I don' see nothing, am connected for over 1 hour now and don't see, will open App Man and hit Update to check manually, I hope I can install this new version. I remember you had to give me your numbers of joystick for mine to work (directionals) , but in this case (hotkeys) I don't know if it will work, my joy is similar to a ps2/3 joy, so I could map the 4 hotkeys to r1 r2 l1 and l2 . I noticed that in the last version 6.0 ... you have included gngeo aswell, was afraid of some instalation problem but it went ok.

The new version is available now for some time. It showed up in my application manager. You can also find it here: http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...o-gui/0.0.6-1/

I remember you had some problems with defining the directions of your joystick. So don't change those, just define the keys for the hotkeys and the function of the hotkeys themselves.

Yes, that's what I'm going to do, will not mess with directionals again since it's already working, will try the link instead of app man, thanks.
Update: have already update, saw the 4 hotkeys, very good, can't test joy as it's charging now, map a+b c+d b+c and a+b+c .Will test later or tomorrow and report back.

Looks like I forgot to add this parameter in case it is currently missing.
Try:
Code:
echo "showfps false" >> /home/user/.gngeo/gngeorc
and the try to start gngeo-gui again.

Gngeo is kind of picky if it comes to what roms it accepts, so not all (zipped) roms will work. It is best that you then try some alternative romsets.
The fullscreen crash is a known issue indeed. I hope to tackle it one day, but I am not sure if I can fix it.

And I will make sure the missing parameter you encountered will be set in a possible next version.

With me it didn't happen, I've installed gngeo-gui since first version and showfps is alwais set on. I imagine the fullscreen bug is difficult to fix, maybe some kind of 'script' to make app ignore screen transitions. But I'm happy with version now, it's almost perfect now, Ade I have tested the hotkeys on joy and it's working perfectly, next is get a new one and usb hub for both connected to play against friends!!! Have played for 2 hours directly yesterday on a 32'' HD Tv, shame didn't make a video.
